Following it’s cancellation last year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the “Taste of St. Augustine” is back to celebrate its 24^th year on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. The Taste of St. Augustine provides a variety of culinary dishes from restaurants around the St. Augustine area.  “The Taste of St. Augustine” has grown to be the city’s premiere outdoor food festival, conveniently located at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on A1A South. This signature food festival serves up exciting “tastes” from over 20 of St. Augustine restaurants and is a major fundraiser for EPIC Behavioral Healthcare, serving the St. Johns community since 1973.  

Participating restaurants include: Amici Italian Restaurant, Applebee’s, Costa Brava Restaurant in the Casa Monica Resort, Dog Rose Brewery, Fried Chicken Kitchen, Harvest & Reel – Embassy Suites, Heart & Soul Catering, The Hyppo, Mayday Ice Cream, Meehan’s Irish Pub, Old Coast Ales, Raintree Restaurant, Salt Life Food Shack, San Sebastian Winery, The Saucy Pig BBQ, Smokin Spencer’s Q, Uptown Swinery, and The Villagio Bar & Grille.

Organizers are committed to providing a safe environment for vendors and event attendees and are working closely with the St. Augustine Amphitheater to ensure a safe event. Restaurants will compete for the prestigious TOStA (Taste of St. Augustine) awards, with categories including Best Family Dining, Best Ethnic, Best Upscale, and Best Dessert, as well as the ever popular “People’s Choice” voted on by patrons of the event. As in years past, this event includes an accompanying music festival designed to showcase great music to enjoy along with the culinary fare.  This year’s lineup includes:

11AM- Josh Ford & The Groove Bender Country Duo

1 PM – Johnson-Burns

3 PM - Chillula

Admission to “The Taste of St. Augustine” is $5.00, and food and beverage tickets cost $1.00 each, with most “tastes” somewhere between 2-5 tickets. Free parking and children under 11 receive free admission.  All patrons can use their tickets to receive discounts at local attractions.

Also included is a free Children’s Activity Area where children will enjoy crafts and other fun activities.

Back by popular demand is “The Race to the Taste”- A 5K run/walk starting and ending at the Amphitheatre with the course going through Anastasia State Park and surrounding neighborhoods.  “The Race to the Taste” is the only 5K in St. Augustine tied to an extraordinary culinary event and registered runners receive 2 free admissions into “The Taste of St. Augustine”.  “The Race” will begin at 11:00 am, allowing for plenty of time to enjoy the Taste.  For more information on “The Race” and to register, visit www.racetothetaste.org
