Midway through 2024, the St. Augustine Amphitheatre is second most popular amphitheater in the country, based on gross ticket sales.

The numbers from the Pollstar midyear report show the Amp with more than $5.5 million in ticket sales this year on more than 80,000 tickets sold.

In the U.S., that ranks behind only the revered Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, which has more than $16 million in sales. The Amp's performance ranks the venue as sixth in the world through the first half of the year.

With an obvious weather advantage over much of the country, several Florida outdoor venues landed among the most popular in the country, including Jacksonville's Daily's Place. It was ninth in the country and 18th in the world with $1.16 million in ticket sales, according to Pollstar.

In St. Augustine, the Amp doesn't appear headed for much a slowdown. It already has 32 more performances scheduled through November.
